Woman accused of dismembering mother’s body due in court

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — According to court records, 32-year-old Torilena Fields is scheduled for a pretrial conference Monday morning at 9.

State police say Fields was arrested last October after her mother’s dismembered body was found outside their home on Brierly Ridge Road in Mount Olivet.

In addition to murder, Fields is also charged with abuse of a corpse and animal torture. She pleaded not guilty during a zoom appearance last November.

She is currently being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center.
