No. 19 Kentucky beats No. 15 Missouri, earns six seed in SEC Tournament

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Otega Oweh scored 22 points and Andrew Carr added 16 points and 12 rebounds to help No. 19 Kentucky beat No. 15 Missouri 91-83 Saturday.
Additionally, Koby Brea scored 17 points and Amari Williams added 14 points and eight rebounds to help Kentucky win its second game in a row.
Head Coach Mark Pope’s team finishes his first regular season in charge of the Wildcats 21-10 overall and 10-8 in the Southeastern Conference.
For Mizzou, Mark Mitchell scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Henry Clay High School alumnus Marques Warrick scored 17 points for the Tigers.
Eight of Warrick’s tallies came on a 10-0 run in the second half to get within 66-61 before the Wildcats pulled away for the win.
The Wildcats are now 2-0 since coach Mark Pope announced that second-leading scorer Jaxson Robinson would miss the rest of the season with a wrist injury after losing to Auburn on March 1.
Kentucky is the sixth seed and will have a double bye in the SEC Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Cats will face either 11 seed Georgia or 14 seed Oklahoma on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET.
