New traffic signal on Citation Boulevard in anticipation for new Publix opening

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Drivers in Lexington should be aware of a new traffic signal going into operation this week.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a new signal will be activated at the intersection of Citation Boulevard and Remington Way on Wednesday at 9 a.m. The signal will include a five-phase system, with a protected flashing yellow arrow for left turns.

The change comes as a new Publix grocery store is set to open at 7 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection.
