NORMAN, Ok. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Otega Oweh scored a last second lay up to edge Kentucky over Oklahoma, 83-82, on Wednesday in Norman.

Mark Pope’s side reestablished its lead in the second half, but the Sooners did not go away quietly after tying the game at 60 apiece.

From there, UK had to fight to stay alive tying the game three times. In the final two minutes there were four lead changes as the Cats had the last laugh.

OU had six seconds to try and win, but UK’s defense stamped out any chance at a buzzer beater.

Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson’s returns to the court saw the former foul out and the latter return to the bench with ice on his injured wrist after 12 minutes of action.
