Two people dead after being struck by a car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two men have died following a crash Saturday morning at the intersection of Tates Creek Road and Man O’ War Boulevard.

According to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, 61-year-old Eyad Albaree and 55-year-old Matthew Hudson were struck by a vehicle just before 7 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene and took both men to a hospital, where they later died from their injuries.

Authorities have not yet released details on what led to the crash, and no charges have been filed at this time.
