ARH Foundation launches flood relief effort, seeks donations

EASTERN KENTUCKY (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – As communities across Eastern Kentucky continue to recover from devastating flooding, the ARH Foundation is stepping up to provide much-needed relief and is asking for public support.

According to a flyer shared by ARH, the foundation is accepting supply donations at multiple locations and offering a convenient way for people to contribute financially to the recovery efforts.

How to Help:

Supply Donations – Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the following locations:

  • ARH System Center-Lexington – 2260 Executive Drive, Lexington, KY
  • ARH Disaster Relief Center (formerly JC Penney Building) – 278 Black Gold Blvd, Hazard, KY
  • Former Highlands ARH Cancer Center – Located on the campus of Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center, 5000 KY Route 321, Prestonsburg, KY

Financial Donations – Those wishing to contribute directly to the ARH Flood Relief Fund can do so online. A QR code for quick access to the donation page is provided on the ARH flyer, attached to this story. ARH states that 100% of every dollar donated will go directly back into affected communities.

With many families facing loss and displacement due to the recent flooding, ARH is calling on Kentuckians to come together and support those in need.
