Four former UK Football players invited to 2025 NFL Draft Combine

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Former Kentucky football players Eli Cox, Maxwell Hairston, Jamon Dumas-Johnson and Deone Walker have been invited to the 2025 NFL Draft Scouting Combine on February 27 to March 2.

The annual skills showcase will take place inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Here’s the breakdown of when the players will be taking the field. Live coverage begins on February 27 at 3 p.m. ET on NFL Network.

• Thursday, Feb 27– DL, LB drills- 3 p.m. ET (Walker, Dumas-Johnson)
• Friday, Feb 28– DB, TE drills- 3 p.m. ET (Hairston)
• Sunday, March 2 – OL drills- 1 p.m. ET (Cox)

In the past five seasons, UK has had at least four players invited each year. Since Mark Stoops arrived in Lexington in 2013, 47 players have participated, 38 of them since 2019.

For the seventh year in a row, Kentucky is aiming to have multiple players have their names called on draft day.

• 2024- DB Andru Phillips, ILB Trevin Wallace, RB Ray Davis, QB Devin Leary
• 2023- QB Will Levis, RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. and DB Carrington Valentine
• 2022- WR Wan’Dale Robinson, DL Joshua Paschal, OL Luke Fortner and OL Darian Kinnard
• 2021- LB Jamin Davis, DB Kelvin Joseph, DL Quinton Bohanna, DB Brandin Echols, OL Landon Young and DL Phil Hoskins
• 2020- WR Lynn Bowden Jr. and OL Logan Stenberg
• 2019- LB Josh Allen, DB Lonnie Johnson Jr., DB Mike Edwards, RB Benny Snell Jr. and OL George Asafo-Adjei

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24 to 26 on the Lambeau Field and Titletown campus in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
