One person dead after house fire in Bell County

PAGE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) has confirmed that one person died in a house fire early Wednesday morning in the Page community of Bell County.

According to KSP, a family of four was inside the home when the fire broke out. Thanks to a passing AT&T employee, three of them—the daughter, son-in-law, and brother—were able to escape safely. The employee also helped rescue the family dog.

First responders remain on the scene as they continue investigating the cause of the fire.
