Man gets escorted out of London City Council meeting
LONDON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — During the City of London’s council meeting, a man named James Jones was escorted out after he played audio of a conversation he allegedly recorded between himself and a council member.
The conversation was about the mayor, jobs and transparency.
London Police officers escorted Jones out of the meeting after he asked for more time to play a second clip from the recording.
In addition to Jones, another person was also escorted out of the meeting.
The council includes six members from each of the city’s districts.
The council meets the first Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers in the basement of the community center.
The next meeting is Monday, March 3rd.
