Lexington Legends celebrate 25 years of baseball
Club announces fan promotions for the milestone season
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- The Lexington Legends are 25-years-old as of Thursday and are looking towards another season of baseball this coming year.
“The dream of professional baseball came alive 25 years ago. Our goal in 2025 is to revisit that wonderful time in Lexington’s history by remembering and even improving these great moments with our fans. I can’t wait!” said former club president Alan Stein, who started the team in 2001.
As the ball club enters into a new year marking a quarter century in operation, they have several plans for fans.
Nationally recognized professional entertainment the ZOOPerstars on opening day, fireworks every Friday and Saturday and Legends greats returning to Lexington.
