Police investigating shooting in Stamping Ground

STAMPING GROUND, Ky. (WTVQ) — According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, police are investigating a shooting that happened in Stamping Ground early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the shooting happened around 2 o’clock at a home on Woodlake Road.

They say a man there was shot several times in the upper torso.

They say he was taken to a Lexington hospital and is expected to survive.

Police say they stopped a vehicle matching a witness description.

All suspects have been located and investigators are in the process of interviewing all parties involved.

The identities of the men in custody have not yet been released.
