Man arrested for hitting woman in face with flower pot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say assaulted a woman with a flower pot.

According to police, 39-year-old Billy Lambert hit a woman in the face with a concrete flower pot, causing her serious injury.

Police say her facial bones were broken by the assault.

Lambert is due in court Tuesday.
