Resource center to help veterans in the new year
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Veterans in Kentucky will have the chance to meet with government officials Thursday in Frankfort for assistance and advocacy services.
The Veterans Resource Center of Frankfort announced that congressional representatives and veteran resource officers will be available to meet with veterans from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday. The event will take place at 104 East Second Street.
The center, which advocates for veterans across the commonwealth, says they are offering extra assistance as they prepare for the new year. Veterans needing support are encouraged to attend.
