Trash pickup adjustments in Lexington for Christmas Eve

No waste collection on Tuesday, regular schedule resumes next week

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – If your trash is usually collected on Tuesdays in Lexington, you’ll have to wait until your next scheduled pickup date due to the Christmas Eve holiday.

According to the city, there is no waste collection on Tuesday. Instead, pickups typically scheduled for today were moved up to Monday to accommodate the holiday.

For those who missed Monday’s adjusted pickup, regular waste collections will resume next week.
