All-League One midfielder signs for Lexington SC
Alfredo Midence comes to Lexington from Central Valley Fuego in USL League One
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- United Soccer League One Young Player of the Year, Alfredo Midence, is joining Lexington SC from Central Valley Fuego.
The Honduran midfielder was also recognized on the USL1 All-League Second Team and won the Golden Playmaker award after last season.
“Signing with Lexington Sporting Club fills me with incredible excitement! It represents hope and the thrilling promise of a fantastic season ahead,” said Midence.
Last season with the Fresno, California club, Midence scored two goals and registered eight assists in 15 matches played.
“Alfredo is a top-class midfielder with proven ability at this level. We believe his skill set and work ethic will play a key role in building our team’s identity and success,” said Head Coach Terry Boss.
