Detainee set for arraignment after escape from UK Hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A detainee who escaped from UK Hospital last week while under police guard is scheduled for arraignment Monday.

Police say 37-year-old Paige Aich was apprehended last Wednesday, days after her escape on Sunday, December 15. She faces charges related to theft and drugs.

According to investigators, Aich walked out of UK Hospital while under guarded police supervision. Further details on her arraignment are expected to be released following the hearing.
