Search for suspicious man in Berea

BEREA, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Police in Madison County are continuing their search for a reported suspicious man near Berea College.

Authorities say they received multiple calls about a suspicious middle-aged man spotted in the Brushy Fork area, located behind Berea College on Scaffold Cane Road. Investigators described an alleged incident on Wednesday as “highly inappropriate.”

The suspect is described as having long, salt-and-pepper gray hair that falls above his shoulders, a gray beard, and was last seen wearing a bright green T-shirt and pants. He may also have been carrying or wearing a denim jacket.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the Berea Police Department immediately.
