Hopkins County man arrested for child porn and sexual abuse

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — Kentucky State Police take a Hopkins County man into custody on child sexual exploitation charges.

State Police say 41-year-old Ronald W. Rice Jr. was arrested at his Madisonville home on November 1.

According to investigators, Rice was communicating with a juvenile online to meet for illegal sex acts and exchange nude files.

Rice is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 18-years-old, unlawful transaction with a minor-illegal sex act under 18-years-old, possession/view matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
