Barion Brown announces that he will transfer from UK

Second UK receiver to transfer in as many days

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Junior wide receiver Barion Brown has entered the transfer portal and is the second top talent at wideout to transfer in as many days.

Brown, who announced the move on social media on Thursday, joins Dane Key as the two former UK receivers in the portal.

“The experiences, lessons and relationships I’ve gained during my time here will stay with me forever,” said Brown, who leaves as the SEC’s all-time leader in kicks returned for touchdowns with five.

The news from both players comes in the days after UK wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts left Lexington to coach at Nebraska.
