Repair work continues for Nicholasville Road/US 27 in Fayette Co.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces an update for the bridge repair project located over New Circle Road on Nicholasville Road/US 27.

On June 26 through June 28, from 10p.m. until 5a.m., traffic on the inner loop of New Circle will be diverted to the On and Off ramps for Nicholasville  Road at milepoint 0. KYTC says the traffic switch is necessary to allow crews to work on bridge joints.

On June 26 through June 28, from 10p.m. until 5a.m., the left lane on Nicholasville Road willbe closed between Canary Road and Wilhite Drive. Lane closures will be both inbound and outbound. The inner most left turn lane from the inner loop of New Circle to Nicholasville Road remains closed.

Note:  LFUCG Police will be assisting with the maintenance of traffic
