Man injured after running car into ditch in Laurel Co.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) — One man was taken by helicopter to the UK Medical Center after crashing into a ditch Monday morning.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says Randy Wagers lost control of his car on Kentucky East 80, approximately 10 miles east of London.

They report he lost control of his vehicle after going around a curve, overturned over a guard rail, and landed into a ditch.

Wagers was treated at the scene and then air lifted to the UK Medical Center.

His condition is unknown at this time.
