UK Women’s soccer seeded fifth, will host NCAA first round

KENTUCKY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- For the first time in a decade, Kentucky women’s soccer will host a post-season match at home.
Head Coach Troy Fabiano’s team (11-4-4, 3-3-4) will play West Virginia (12-5-2, 8-2-1) in the NCAA Tournament first round on Friday at 7 p.m.

The team is coming off its best season in a decade as well and earns its second-ever tournament national seed as the fifth overall.
If UK wins, it’ll face either No. 2 Notre Dame or Milwaukee in the next round.
Tickets are $10 general admission for adults ages (18-65), and $5 general admission for youth ages (2-18) and Seniors (65+).
