Ongoing search for escaped Blackburn Facility inmates

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Authorities are actively searching for two inmates who escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington. Kentucky State Police say 38-year-old Adam Ball and 40-year-old Bradley Cornwell fled from the minimum-security facility on Sunday in a water truck.

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, the two were reportedly seen at a Shell gas station on Ironworks Pike in Fayette County, and officials believe they may be heading toward Scott County.

Authorities are asking the public for assistance; if you see these individuals or have any information on their whereabouts, please contact 911 immediately.
