Man electrocuted in workplace accident identified
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-We now know the name of the man killed Friday in a workplace accident.
The coroner identified 61-year-old William Everman as the man who was electrocuted Friday afternoon near the intersection of Squires Road and Easthills Drive.
According to the coroner, Everman was moving debris from an area where town homes were being torn down.
His dump truck hit power lines and started a fire.
Everman’s brother-in-law was shocked trying to rescue him.
According to Everman’s obituary, he worked in construction for 46 years.
He is survived by his mother, wife, and two children.
