KSP identifies man killed in Estill County crash

RAVENNA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A crash in Estill County Wednesday night has claimed the life of an Irvine man.

Kentucky State Police say troopers were called to a two-vehicle crash on Millers Creek Road near Ravenna around 9 p.m.

State Police say 48-year-old Stephen D. Rison was driving east on HWY-1571, when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and hit another vehicle being driven by 39-year-old Aimee Elliott.

Rison was pronounced dead at the scene.

Elliott and her passenger were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
