Man arrested on child kidnapping charges

52-year-old man facing court hearing next week following arrest

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – A Georgetown man has been arrested on charges of attempted kidnapping of a minor. Moises Vergara, 52, was taken into custody on Monday, according to the Scott County Detention Center.

Details surrounding the charges remain unclear as authorities continue their investigation. Vergara is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on Tuesday, October 15th.
