Investigation underway after deadly crash in Webster Co.

SLAUGHTERS, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say they are investigating after a deadly two-car crash on State Route 138 Friday afternoon.

Investigators say 70-year-old Thomas Herron was hit by 20-year-old Hunter Davis on State Route 138 when Davis crossed the center line on a curve, hitting Heron head on.

The Webster County coroner pronounced Herron dead at the scene. Davis was taken to Methodist Hospital in Henderson for non-life threatening injuries.
