KSP: DNA match leads to arrest in rape case

MORGANFIELD, Ky. ( WTVQ) – State Police say DNA linked a Henderson man to a rape that was reported in April following an initial meeting through social media.

Investigators say 21-year old Isaiah Johnson met a woman through Facebook and when he met her in-person in Morganfield, he raped her.

Johnson was indicted by a Union County Grand Jury in early June and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was taken into custody June 12, charged with Rape 1st Degree and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
