Man accused of setting home on fire facing arson charges

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A man has been arrested and is facing arson charges after allegedly setting his home on fire, according to police.

The London Police Department says Brandon Dixon has arrested in connection to a house fire in the 1800 block of North Mill Street on Saturday, August 24th.

When officers arrived at the scene, the London Fire Department told detectives the fire appeared to have been ‘intentionally set,’ according a release from the London Police Department.

Dixon was arrested following an investigation. He’s currently being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
