Coroner: Teen dies after being hit by train

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-A 13-year-old boy has died after being hit by a train last week in Laurel County, according to the coroner’s office.

Officials say Waylon Riggs died from his injuries Monday night.

He was hit near the tracks off Robinson Creek Road near the water plant overpass.

The investigation into his death continues.
