Volunteers needed for 2nd annual street survey

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Catholic Action Center and Street Voice Council in Lexington are calling for volunteers for the city’s second annual Street Survey. Organizers have announced that the survey will take place on August 28th, focusing on the homeless population in the area.

This year’s survey is particularly significant as it will be the first since the Safer Kentucky Act became law in July, which bans the homeless from camping on streets. Volunteers will engage with the homeless community to gather essential data and insights.
