Lexington Sporting Club unveils women’s team inaugural away kit

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 SPORTS) — Lexington Sporting Club is celebrating, this time, revealing their inaugural away kit for the women’s super league team.

The reveal happened on Wednesday at West Sixth Brewing as the team got a chance to have a meet up with fans and also enjoy the Olympic match between the U.S. Women’s National Team and Australia.
After the game the ladies showed off their new jerseys they will be donning in a few weeks.

Lexington SC says the inaugural away kit is a tribute to Lexington’s rich heritage and dynamic community. Designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind, the kit features a striking combination of white and green, reflecting the club’s bold spirit and connection to the city. The lightweight, breathable fabric ensures maximum comfort and performance for the players. Unique patterns and motifs don the front of the kit, while the back plays home to an outline of Kentucky with the LSC crest inside, adding a touch of the bluegrass every time we take the pitch.

Coach Mike Dickey says the excitement continues to build for his team.

“The players want to play so having the opportunity to, be here together at West Sixth and getting close to, our first competition coming up, in about four weeks away. I know the excitement is building right now and I know from a player standpoint, they’re, they’re super excited to get in front of, you know, our fans here at home and then also to be able to compete when we, in our first game in Carolina,” he says.

Lexington SC also plans to open the doors to their new at home stadium in September.
