Man arrested after illegally being at a playground

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Danville Police have arrested a man after he was illegally at a playground.

Police say 44-year-old Jamie Palmer is a registered sex offender and isn’t allowed to be in playgrounds. They say the arrest comes after complaints that Palmer had visited a public playground while participating in mobile gaming.

Police say Palmer was taken into custody at his home.
