Two more UK baseball players announce return for next season
Pitchers Jackson Nove and Robert Hogan
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Kentucky baseball has two members of its pitching staff back for the 2024 season.
Robert Hogan and Jackson Nove will suit up in Blue and White once more. Both players announced their returns on social media.
Senior Pitcher Jackson Nove
Nove has played his entire three-year career with Kentucky and is 4-0 on the mound as a Wildcat.
“We knocked down a lot of doors this season, but I’m not satisfied,” said Nove. “I want to earn my degree and finish what we started.”
Senior Pitcher Robert Hogan
This past season, Hogan played in 24 games averaging a 3.10 ERA and a 1-0 record this past season.
“Kentucky is special,” said Hogan. “For the first time in my career I feel at home and at a place where I can be the best version of myself.”
The righty went on to write that it would’ve taken a perfect situation to leave early, but he is better suited to stay in Lexington for his final season of eligibility.
“I want to continue to grow the program and give back to the family that has already given so much to me,” said Hogan.
