Motorcyclist dies after collision in Garrard County

GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a pickup truck in Garrard County on Monday evening. The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office reports that the accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 27, Lexington Road, and Rogers Road.

Deputies say 62-year-old Gregory Maggard was riding a motorcycle when a pickup truck crashed into him. Tragically, Maggard was killed in the collision.

The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
