BREAKING: ABC cancels “Roseanne” after racist tweet

NEW YORK (AP) – ABC Network announced on Tuesday it is cancelling the ‘Roseanne’ reboot.

ABC’S decision comes after Barr suggested that former White House adviser Valerie Jarrett is a product of the Muslim Brotherhood and the “Planet of the Apes.”

Barr tweeted: “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a babyvj.”

Jarrett is African-American and advised Barack and Michelle Obama.

Barr tweeted to Jarrett on Tuesday that she was sorry “for making a bad joke.”

The president for ABC Entertainment, Channing Dungey, sent out a statement a short time ago saying: “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”
