The Secretary of State honoring Veterans in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – memorial day weekend is really a chance to honor those who have sacrificed their lives fighting for the country.

Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes took part in Memorial Day weekend events Saturday.

She met with more than 70 veterans who left Saturday on an honor flight to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials.
