Volunteers needed to distribute water to the homeless

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The Catholic Action Center is calling for volunteers to help distribute bottled water to the homeless during the current heatwave. Volunteers are needed both this weekend and next weekend.

Organizers will be handing out water to those in need across the city starting at 1 p.m. each day. This initiative aims to provide essential hydration to the homeless population during the scorching summer temperatures.
