Man dies after being hit by tractor-trailer in Clark County
WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) –A man is dead after being hit by vehicle on I-64 in Clark County.
The Clark County coroner says it happened near mile marker 93 early Friday morning.
According to the Winchester Sun, a man was outside a pickup truck checking on a trailer when he was hit by a tractor-trailer truck.
The coroner says the truck did not stop after hitting the man, now identified as Ora Lee Brock, 45.
Brock, according to the coroner, worked for a mowing service and was traveling to work when he pulled over and got out of his vehicle for a trailer safety check.
Brock’s body has been taken to Frankfort for an autopsy.
According to the coroner, the driver of the tractor-trailer has not been found.
