KY National Guardsmen to receive Medal for Valor
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Two Kentucky National Guardsmen will be honored on Friday for their courageous actions during the devastating Eastern Kentucky floods in July 2022. The ceremony will take place in the State Capitol Rotunda.
The National Guard announced that Sgt. 1st Class Jeremy Lowe and Staff Sgt. Ryan Hunter will be presented with the Kentucky Medal for Valor. This prestigious award recognizes their gallantry and lifesaving efforts during the historic floods that ravaged the region.
