Fire crews battle house fire on East 6th Street

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An early-morning fire destroys a Lexington home.

Firefighters say the fire broke out around 4 a.m. on East Sixth Street.

There were heavy flames and smoke when firefighters arrived on the scene.

Firefighters say they believe the home is abandoned.

There were no injuries.
