One injured after crashing under a semi trailer on the interstate
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – One person is recovering after a crash happened this morning Thursday, June 13, on I-75 southbound.
Police say that they received a call around 8 a.m. on Thursday after a car crashed into a semi-truck at mile marker 115.
Once they arrived at the scene, officers said they found that the car had crashed and went underneath the semi, with one person inside.
Crews were able to get to the person and pull them out of the vehicle. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Mile marker 115 was shut down but has since been reopened.
