Body recovered from reservoir in Lexington identified as member of Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A 76-year-old man is identified as the drowning victim pulled from the Lexington Reservoir #4 Wednesday night.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says Ronald E. Logan was recovered from the water just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, and that his death is being investigated as accidental.
Police say the search for the man began just before 10:00 p.m. after receiving a call about a possible drowning in the reservoir off Richmond Road near Coys Lane.
Ronald Logan was a Vietnam veteran, who was inducted into the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame in 2023, according to records.
