Bicyclist seriously injured after hit and run

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In Lexington, a bicyclist was seriously hurt early Saturday morning when a car hit him then drove off.

Police say it happened on North Limestone near the Sayre School around 2 AM.

Officers found a 47 year old man lying in the road with life-threatening injuries.

Police didn’t have any information about the car involved. Officers did say the man had a serious head injury.
