Firefighter recovering from brain tumor in Winchester

WINCHESTER, Ky (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – A fundraiser is underway in Clark County to aid Winchester firefighter Logan Crigler in his recovery from a brain tumor.

Crigler underwent a 12-hour surgery at the University of Cincinnati Hospital earlier this month to remove a tumor measuring one and a half inches.

The tumor was discovered after Crigler became ill during training on May 29th.

The Winchester Fire Department has partnered with the Yard Foundation to organize the fundraiser, which has already raised more than two thousand dollars.
