Post offices closing next Wednesday for Juneteenth

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Post Offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Priority Mail Express will be the only mail delivery to street or P.O. Box addresses. If anyone needs to use postal services, they can access the Self-Service Kiosk (SSK), which are located at select post offices.

The SSK accepts credit or debit cards only and can handle 80 percent of the transactions that would be available at a retail counter. A few of these include buying stamps or shipping a package.
