Man Arrested for DUI and Meth Possession in Laurel County
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Nicholas Cole, 44, is facing charges of driving under the influence and possession of methamphetamine, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest occurred Monday around 2:40 PM on McWhorter Road following a non-injury traffic crash investigation. During the investigation, authorities determined that Cole, the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, he was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Cole has been charged with driving under the influence and is currently being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center pending further legal proceedings.
