Kentucky State Police searching for missing 8-month-old

REYNOLDS STATION, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police have launched an intensive search for Miya Tucker, an 8-month-old girl from Reynolds Station, following a welfare check and search warrant executed at her home. The young child, described as having brown hair and green eyes, was last known to be under the care of her parents but was missing at the time of the officers’ visit.

During the operation, Miya’s mother, 29-year-old Tesla Tucker of Reynolds Station, was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abandonment of a minor. She is currently held at the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.

Additionally, Cage C. Rudd, 30, also from Reynolds Station and identified as another caregiver, faces similar charges including possession of controlled substances (fentanyl and methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abandonment of a minor. Rudd is likewise detained in the Daviess County Detention Center.

Authorities are deeply concerned about the welfare of baby Miya, given the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. Kentucky State Police are urgently requesting the public’s assistance.
