Bluegrass Fair opening day today at Masterson Station Park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36) – The wait is over. Today, Thursday, June 6 marks the opening day of the Bluegrass Fair at Masterson Station Park.

The Bluegrass Fair is presented by the Lexington Lions Club and this year marks the 63rd anniversary of the event. The Fair is the largest county fair in Kentucky.

Various activities and entertainment acts will be available for attendees to participate in. Brand new acts are being debuted at this year’s Bluegrass Fair which include Lady Houdini – the world-famous female escape artist. The second new act features Sea Lion Splash – an exciting traveling sea lion show.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m. on weekends. The fair will run from June 6-16.

Tickets will be eight dollars for admission only and must be paid in cash. Additional single ride tickets may be purchased for $1.50 but a ride wristband for unlimited access will range from $30-$35 depending on the day that you attend.
