KSP investigates fatal crash in Bracken Co.

Brooksville, Ky. (WTVQ) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a pick-up truck hauling a cattle trailer between Willow Road and Neave Road on KY 22 in Bracken County.

KSP says the crash happened at around 12:00 pm Monday on KY 22. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 Kawasaki Motorcycle operated by 49-year-old Alvin Parker of Independence, KY lost control and hit a 2003 Dodge pick-up hauling a cattle trailer, operated by 52-year-old Darrin Ramsey of Brooksville.

The Bracken County Coroner pronounced Parker dead at the scene.

Investigators say Ramsey was not hurt during the collision.
